You will need a new board for a 9900k.

either z370 or z390, z270 does not support coffee lake.

if you stay with this board, you're limited to a 7700k as the best cpu that you can get.

PC: Motherboard: ASUS B550M TUF-Plus, CPU: Ryzen 3 3100, CPU Cooler: Arctic Freezer 34, GPU: GIGABYTE WindForce GTX1650S, RAM: HyperX Fury RGB 2x8GB 3200 CL16, Case, CoolerMaster MB311L ARGB, Boot Drive: 250GB MX500, Game Drive: WD Blue 1TB 7200RPM HDD.

Peripherals: GK61 (Optical Gateron Red) with Mistel White/Orange keycaps, Logitech G102 (Purple), BitWit Ensemble Grey Deskpad.

Audio: Logitech G432, Moondrop Starfield, Mic: Razer Siren Mini (White).

Phone: Pixel 3a (Purple-ish).

first of all. your motherboard wont handle and it wont even support the 9900k. and do not buy 9900k. it is pretty dead platform.

for gaming get 10600kf

for more budget gamign ryzen 5 3600. is worse in games than 10600kf but is cheaper.

i would wiat couple months for ryzen 4th gen and intel 11th gen and upgrade then.
