Grey bar across my screen next to the camera module that goes where the icons are... Can only see it in the lowest light setting and only had the phone for 4 weeks so can't be burn in!

Oppo find x2 Pro, any one know what it is? It's only on the right side of the camera and shows up in photos and notification bar if I turn brightness to minimum.

Edit: it appears in portrait mode on photos but only at the absolute minimum brightness and looks like a notification batr but no app I use has a bar there.

It's the Panel, nothing you can do about it. Samsung's fault when they manufactured the Panel.

Same Panel as the Oneplus 8 Pro, same Problem (not every model has it that visible tho).

The Edges of that "bar" should allign to the Punch hole, right?

I know! Is it common? I spent £1100 crowns on this bad boy and this happens! They are sending me out a new phone but is this a common issue with this panel?

Its the buggering punchhole bar and icon retention that plagued the 8 Pro and x2 pro launch!

Idk how common it is (like how much % have that), but since it's the exact same Panel as the 8 Pro, i know that some people do have that.
Mine has it too (or had, before that may-update, which improved the problems significantly), but i have no real situation where i can see that. Unless i make the situation just to find it.

I do think, for that price nothing less than perfection is acceptable. But other's won't have less cons, or more pros either. You could go for a Samsung S20 Ultra, which might not have this problem, but it will have the exynos.
you could go iPhone, but then only 60 Hz, and different OS (12 Pro max might come with 120 hz), etc etc.

If you can, you could try trade-ins and see if it improves.

I do know, that some replaced their Oneplus device because of Display issues, and the new model was way better (or even no issues at all anymore). So there is a good chance in finding a device without this Problem.

Oppo is sending me a new unit and getting the DHL driver to collect my other one.

Heard some issues with Samsung oleds and I'm British, so i think they do snapdragon version here! But every pro it has... They have just as many cons and go against what I want!

I considered the S20 plus at first but I got a good deal on a oppo find x2 pro with b&0 h9 headphones for free and I jamp! Kinda locked into this one! I'm assuming that it's still a small number of units plagued? I didn't want to keep it and risk a full on burn in situation!

I doubt I'll keep getting broken oled right?
