a proxy for stife

for some reason, my isp is very slow on s2games, so the answer is proxy, and i found proxy cap, but i need a proxy port now that would allow me smooth playing instead of a 3kb/s connection to s2games ( i can check it through my netlimit program)

and how do you actually use proxycap? how do you apply a proxy on the strife program?

cuz i was rejoycing when i got the beta key, but if it is not playable...?

Proxycap uses the SSH protocol to encrypt your traffic.

 

You will need a remote server running SSH.

 

You will be adding a lot of overhead using SSH. Use something more optimised.

 

 

Also, using a VPN is not going to bypass the limit on your connection that is set by your ISP. You can not download at a faster rate than your ISP has allocated to you. The video that Logan/Tech Syndicate made is very misleading.

oh, so what should i use? and, i paid for 80mb/s and torrents do go up to 50mb/s just that the government wants to crack down on (supposedly) malicious thing games and porn (glad that they are cracking down on porn, but on games too... come on....)  it started about a few months ago
