Hello, I'm posting this hoping someone knows what's wrong and what I need to do to fix this. I've talked to several people and they are pretty confused.

What's wrong

Alright so basically, I upgraded my cpu because before I wasn't able to record since my gpu was good but my cpu couldn't handle it. the cpu i got was the INTEL CORE i7-4770S 3.10GHZ QUAD CORE Processor 8 Threads - 8MB Cache - LGA 1150. When it arrived, I did all the normal stuff installing it: I opened up my pc case, unscrewed the fan and unclipped the old cpu, and replaced it with the new one (i held it on the edges), clipped it in, put thermal paste on (size of a pea), and screwed the fan back in. When i turned on my pc, it seemed fine and I opened up my game. When I went into the game it was running at 8-45 fps, and it still has almost a week later after trying many things like re installing, factory resetting my pc, and some others.

If you have any suggestions or ideas, please tell me because it's starting to get frustrating yk.

Motherboard: MSI H81M-P33

Old cpu: intel(R) Pentium(R) CPU G3258 @ 3.20GHz
