Hi everyone, finally assembled my handbrake station (R5 3600x, gt730 just for video output, single stick hyperx 3000 cl15 16gb, asus tur b550 plus). Wanted to know how to set memory to the right freq&cl (changed auto to 3000, but all timings went down, the one named CL is 22). Also there is Asus performance enhancement. What does it do? What settings should I change? Cooling solution is a Zalman CNPS9X.

The only setting you need to change is "Enable" XMP.

When you manually set the frequency with everything on auto, the board chooses w/e timings it want. Which in this case is not correct.

Thanks. Is it also XMP on AMD? I thought that it was the Intel name for that. And do you have any idea about that performance thing?

That depends on the motherboard. DOCP is the same thing. All you need to do is be sure it's enabled and that should set the ram to the XMP rated speed timings and voltage all for you.
