Issue with ImDisk Ramdisk app

I rely on ImDIsk, which I am lead to believe is the best for creating Windows RamDisks.

While it works perfectly fine, even for temporary files, I have found out, in my experience, a little issue when

I relocate my Windows temp and tmp folders to my RamDisk. Specifically, when I need to update apps by downloading their newest versions and opening their .exe files manually, they would not work.

 

That only applies for very few of them which I rely on but I'm fairly sure it has something to do with how

I relocated the temp and tmp folders because they worked fine when they're at their default places until I move them.

 

I'm sorry I can't be any more descriptive than that or show for it. But I wonder if anyone has had a similar issue before.
