Reseting Password.

So my dad has a work pc that he has had for years. The pc was set up years ago by a company that he used to work for and it has this crazy password that he wants to change but when he tries to change it it says this. I think it has something to do that this computer was set up orginaly with windows 7 and when windows 10 came out my dad upgraded to it. I read some stuff online that talked about this being a problem on windows 7 but I found nothing about it happening on windows 10 so I think it because he ugraded from windows 7 this is happening. How do I fix this?
