ok, so right now my h100 is set up in pull going out the top of my case with two noctua NF-F12's but on idle with my FX-6100 at 4.0Ghz it ranges from 37C all the way up to 55C but when i set it up pulling into the case its idling around 32C to 45C even when the side panel is off.... there is plenty of airflow (2 intake in front and 1 exhaust in back) i know it might have to do with the heatsinks but is there a way to drop my temps more so i can OC higher? ambient temp is never less than 20C, here is my system if it helps http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/p/UiVE (soon to be 7970)

Maybe you are turning the heating in your house on and off? Environmental temperature affects PC temps a lot.

no, heat is off, its 24 ambient right now, 28 in my room, but usually is around 23, all fans maxed out right now on idle its just getting down to 40, tho i do have HPC mode enabled so its constantly running at 4Ghz, idk if i should turn it off since it might make it unstable?

Don't worry about that.

Btw are you looking at core temps or cpu temps?

im looking at the temp reading from ASUS AI Suite II, which is most likely the cpu temp, not core temp, the core temps are 19 right now, and 39 for cpu temp and thats all fans maxed out with rooms temp being 27.6, so idk if i need to do something, but i turned HPC mode off and cool and quiet back on, i went into catalyste and set the minimum cpu clock to 3Ghz to see if that helps anything, i will wait and see

How is your thermal paste applied? I put my cpu cooler on with terribly applied thermal paste and when I fixed it, the temps were over 10 degrees different.

Try to remember how you applied it and if you use some sort of spreading method I recommend reapplying it with a new method. You can find different methods

all over the internet but the pea method works the best. Here's a link to a very informational video.
