Boya BY MM1 Connector Alternatives for PC

Okay so I was in the market looking for a budget microphone for my computer. I really wanted to buy the BM800 at first but after some digging I saw the Boya BY MM1 which is an external microphone for a camera. I looked up some reviews of it on youtube of people using it on their computer, I also checked the sound quality and it sounded better than the Bm800. So right now I want to buy the Boya but I'm still not sure about it because I'm not sure how I should connect it to my pc and if I can connect it to my pc the cable is too short. 

My question is if you guys are familiar with this particular microphone and have used it or have some knowledge about this stuff, can I replace the provided cable with another one but longer? And if so, what kind of connector should I buy? TRS? or TRRS?
