I have 16gb Dual Channel Corsair Vengeance 1600mhz. When I go into properties it shows that I have 16gb of ram but does not say anything about it being dual channel. Is there anyway to know if it is recognizing the dual channel? Or since it is recognizing the ram then that means it is using the dual channel..I may have this all wrong but some clarification would be nice.

Basically, as long as you put the RAM in the right slots, it will run in dual-channel mode. On motherboards with more than two RAM slots, the proper slots are usually the same colour.

BTW - there is no real difference between single-channel, dual-channel, or whatever-channel RAM. It's just packaging - a "dual-channel" kit is just two single channel sticks packaged together.

A sieve may not hold water, but it will hold another sieve.
