412s Help!

Hi all,

 

Last night I ordered a 412s to go in tandem with my new X79 Deluxe motherboard, both arriving tomorrow...just curious as to know whether there is any clearance issues when using this fan in conjunction with a 4x4GB RAM set on a socket 2011 motherboard?

 

As a side note, was it also a good decision to order an NFF-12 to replace the default fan on the cooler as I did, they are £10 for me so I thought I may as well try it out? If so, is it just a simple case of sticking this on the front as opposed to the one included in the box?
