Hi everyone I've had this problem for awhile and I was hoping I could get some help with solving it. Here's what's happening: So if I do happen to be gaming when it happens both of my screens go black for a second, my game closes, and then the windows I have open on my second display kind of disappear leaving the outlines of the windows. Then everything goes back to normal. Then after some random amount of time like 10 seconds-2 minutes, my PC will crash. Sometimes I get a BSOD that gives the message "Video_TDR_FAILURE (atikmpag.sys), other times my primary display goes black and my secondary display goes green, and other times it just restarts. I feel like this is some sort of graphics issue based on what is happening. My system specs are:

AMD Ryzen 3600

G.Skill Ripjaws V 2*8gb @3200mhz

MSI b450 Tomohawk MAX (Latest Bios and chipset drivers, problem was happening before updates)

Powercolor Red Devil 5700 xt (Driver version 20.7.2, problem has happened on every driver version I've tried)

Samsung 860 EVO

Seagate Barracuda

Corsair RM650x

Windows 10 1909

I've looked through event viewer and found errors like:

A problem has occurred with one or more user-mode drivers and the hosting process has been terminated.  This may temporarily interrupt your ability to access the devices.

The device HID-compliant headset (location (unknown)) is offline due to a user-mode driver crash.  Windows will attempt to restart the device 5 more times.  Please contact the device manufacturer for more information about this problem.

A timeout was reached (45000 milliseconds) while waiting for the AMD External Events Utility service to connect.

The AMD External Events Utility service failed to start due to the following error: The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion.

Definitely sounds like a driver issue. Download and run DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) and remove all AMD drivers. After a reboot, reinstall the latest drivers from AMD and see if that helps. If not, I would suggest RMA'ing the card, seeing as how it's still fairly new.

Unfortunately reinstalling the drivers didn't help. It happened again with the same exact errors in event viewer. Is there anything else you would recommend trying before RMA'ing?
