So I consider myself a pretty tech savvy guy I’ve built over 10 computers for my family and friends. Everything works fine with theories but when it comes to mine I always have the most trouble.

So from start to finish this is what happened to cause my current problem and quite frankly I’m at a loss.

specs

 Intel I 9900k

Msi Mpg z390 gaming carbon pro

Corsair vengeance rgb pro 32 gigs 3200 MHz

Gigabyte GeForce Rtx 2070 super 8 gig (white edition)

Samsung 870 evo for my boot drive

 EVGA 1000g2 supernova

 Noctua NH-D15

2 Seagate BarraCuda 2 terabyte For games and such

Corsair air 540

Anyways, I had taken everything ought of my case and stored it properly while I painted the inside of my air 540. Everything was taped off and prepared the right way as well. When everything was dry I brought it back in and started reassembling everything and got it all good to go, put the side panels on and placed my pc where it belongs. Put the power cord in and turned it on. I had no power to my usbs on the motherboard and no signal coming from the motherboard or gpu. Luckily on the gaming pro carbon it has easy debug lights, it was giving me the same 2 no matter what I did which were as follows.

“dram not detected or failed”

“Cpu not detected or failed”

I have tested the ram in another system and it works fine so through the power of deduction I have come to the conclusion that it’s either the motherboard or the cpu. If ANYONE has encountered a problem like this please contact me.

I have done all the troubleshooting I can and have watched every video I can and I can’t find what I need. Please help me .

as far as I can tell I don't remember anyone getting faulty CPU,so it's obvious you got bad MoBo..I'd RMA that board since you already checked the RAM.

Please do not take offence for my apparent confusion or rudeness,it's not intent me to be like that,it's just my BPD,be nice to me,and I'll return twice better,be rude and usually I get easly pissed of...I'll try to help anyone here,as long as it's something I dealt with, and even if you think I'm rude or not polite, forgive me,  it's not me it's my BPD.

Thanks for understanding.
