Dell 4919DW with ThinkPad P50

Hello Experts,

 

This is my 1st step in Display and GPU arena. So please excuse me if I don't understand some tech stuffs.

I am planning to buy Dell 4919DW monitor.

As of now I have a ThinkPad P50 workstation with nVidia M1000M GPU 4GB dedicated memory. (drivers updated - attached screenshot)

The specs of 4919 monitor talks about resolution of 5120x1440

Not sure if I will be able to run, as I don't see the option for this resolution in nVidia manager (may be, I have not connected the monitor)

Referring to link below, which shows GPU max is 3840x2160.

Does that means, the text or graphics on 4919 monitor will not be in good shape or crippled?

The Laptop P50 has 1 x thunderbolt port, version I have no idea.
