Case Question

weegee15

I'm thinking of getting one of these cases: https://en.sharkoon.com/product/T3-W

Couple of questions:

1. What connector do the front fans use?

2. I'll be putting an extra Arctic fan in the back, so would the mobo support 3 fans on 1 header?

I highly doubt that anyone has this case, since it's rather unheard of.

Prolly a 3 pin fan. No idea as it has no details.
Most headers can support several average fans. Which the artic and what ever come in that case will be.
Also most mobos have more than one header aside from the cpu.

Main RIg Corsair Air 540, I7 9900k, ASUS ROG Maximus XI Hero, G.Skill Ripjaws 3600 32GB, 3090FE, EVGA 1000G5, Acer Nitro XZ3 2560 x 1440@240hz

Spare RIg Lian Li O11 AIR MINI, I7 4790K, Asus Maximus VI Extreme, G.Skill Ares 2400 32Gb, EVGA 1080ti, 1080sc 1070sc & 1060 SSC, EVGA 850GA, Acer KG251Q 1920x1080@240hz

I would not put three fans on one motherboard fan header.

Not the case with a B365M D2V, only one sys fan header

Somewhere on the forums somebody said that the average mobo has an amperage of 1A on the header, would that count here?

Somebody on newegg said it was a 3pin + molex connector (note that it has 2 fans), could the case possibly use a pin from the 3pin as fan control?

If it’s a 3 pin that mean it would have control. Or else it isn’t a 3 pin.
Im sure you’ll find out when you get it.

My board does allow voltage controlled speeds, luckily, but I won't get the case until I get my dual usb 3.0 header card, since the board's header's vbus pin is broken clean off.

Also, the 3rd pin is apparently for "tachometric control" ?

It’s dc control not pwm. Still works.

Good, the case apparently has a 3pin plug and only has the 3rd pin. Power is delivered using a molex connector
