I am using the gigabyte b450 auros elite and it says the bios is f42c but when i go onto the website to get the next bios update i need the current bios i am on is not on there list any were so how am i supposed to work out what i should install next from the list, here is the bios listing https://www.gigabyte.com/uk/Motherboard/B450-AORUS-ELITE-rev-10/support#support-dl-bios i was only planning on doing it because it stated that the newest bios has security updates in it and i have no clue if they are needed or not

They might have delisted it, if it was superceded by another version. Regardless, I'm not sure what the confusion is here. They're ordered by release date descending, so take the first one. You don't have to like flash them all one at a time in order, if that's what you're thinking. You just flash the latest one.

but there are several that say its needs the one before it before doing that bios update and since i am not sure were my bios falls on the list i have no clue what one i am supposed to install first so in all likely hood i would probably just end up not doing it in case i bricked my motherboard i am just worried that i may need the security updates it saying are there for the latest bios update

@viper6332 Go to your bios, you'll get your Bios version there. I also have a Aorus motherboard, so I can say.

And then flash in sequence.

Please be elaborate? From where are you getting the bios info?
