I have a i9-7980XE on a ASUS Prime Deluxe II board. I also have a quad channel corsair kit of 128GB vengeance DDR4 3800MHZ C19 ram. I have not been able to get this CPU stable since i got it. Even default BIOS settings seems to be sometimes unstable under load, but i would like to get a 4 to 4.2 OC out of it. XMP seems to make it more unstable, but i don't really care to much about the memory overclocking at this point. I actually stated off with the Prime Deluxe board before moving to Deluxe II board. I have tried the EZ overclock settings as well as manually going thru the advanced settings disabling everything that is stays to disable if overclocking and setting all the extreme settings etc. I have only somewhat touched the manual voltage settings. I have the triple Corsair AIO and i know the heat in this chip is intense, but from what i read a 4.2 should be doable and it does not reach max temp until after the machine crashes according to the MB display. I assume that means it does not have the voltage to keep up with the draw.

Does anyone have some idea what i am missing here or what settings i should be trying?
