Hi, I have just finished building a new PC but when I try to start it, the PC when powered on has all fans and RGB lights turn on and the motherboard displays code 02 then powers off, then turns back on a repeats the cycle...over and over. No output is sent to the monitor so I cannot access BIOS settings.

My build includes:

- AsRock X570 Taichi

- AMD Ryzen 7 3700X

- Corsair Vengeance LPX 2x8 GB 3600MHz (product code: CMK16GX4M2D36000C18)

- GTX 670

- Hard drive Western Digital 2Tb WD2002FAEX

- SSD Adata SU800

- PSU Extreme 2 525W Cooler Master

**Update: I flashed the BIOS to the latest version and the error code 02 doesnt happen anymore, now I get error code 10. Still powers on fans and RGB shows error code on motherboard the crashes and tries again.

Thank you, tried it and sadly it did not fix the problem. I have also tried using only 1 stick. I have also tried putting my ram in slot the other slots and that didnt fix the problem either. Currently my RAM is slotted in A2 and B2 slots.

Thanks for the feedback. I have tried clearing CMOS and it didn't fix the problem. Ill look into trying another PSU.

Yes, it's worth a try. The one you have isnt known for quality. At this point you have a 50% chance the PSU is bad.

The PSU was working since I had it connected to my old build. It should provide enough power to my new build but I can try a new one.

Must remember the 525w is advertised peak. This doesn't tell you about start up draw and sustained draw.

I had an Antec earth watt 500w do almost the exact same thing, but I moved from one residence to another and the PSU would not start the rig. And I didn't change anything but the home I lived in. It ran like 2 times and that was it. Maybe some 11 years ago now.
