I assume that by 5.0 Ghz you mean on one core, which may be too much for the 9600k, but your cooler is very good and your temps are fine, so I don't think its the cpu, have you checked gpu temps/fan curves?

Laptop: HP Spectre x360 13t, i7 8565u with 16 gigs, 512 gig  nvme ssd, UHD 620 4k

Other laptop: Acer Chromebook cb3 431 with 4 gigs, celeron n3060 with hd 400 and 16 gigs eMMC soon to be a minecraft server?

Remeber to tag people or else they wont see your post.

Hey thanks for replying, an I had all my cores running at 5ghz, an my gpu same temp or I should say to be more honest is I've never seen 60 C yes an I have my temp's on my screen have 5 temp sensors all around my case an no not throttling cuz if heat at all, but even when I put the settings back to default so 4.4ghz my game was still freezing for 3 seconds an play again for 10 seconds an do it over an over now when I had it at 5ghz it never did it once only when I turned my pc off an came back to play it wouldn't boots windows. But like I was saying when I ran it for 4 hours straight not one glitch to not booting just don't make sense my frame rates ae over 60 an temp's under 60 just weird an then another day not a problem at all
