so recently i got a MSI H61M-P31/W8 and its been working fine but i wanted to do some more stuff so i figured i would update the bios although it wasnt working and while messing around i saved the current bios version to my usb with the update and flashed it to the motherboard and now it will turn on for 2 second and turn off and repeat the cycle i dont know how to either erase it or install a new bios version ive tried a bunch of stuff but im not exactly sure what to do can someone please help me im hoping the motherboard isnt bricked and i dont want to spend to much if i try to repair it

You've most likely bricked it. You can try clearing the CMOS, but without dedicated flash back (which this board doesn't have), there's no way to fix it if the flash didn't complete correctly or is otherwise borked.
