3 pin CPU cooler LED

Im struggling to find out were or if I can plug my cpu cooler led to my MOBO. This was my first time building a pc so im kind of clueless. My Cpu cooler is a Swiftech Apogee XL that has a 3 pin 12v constant connecter. My motherboard is an Asus x570-i which I can see has a 12V 4 pin rgb header. Is it possible to plug it into the 4 pin without it ruining anything or is there a specific adapter I would need for it to work?

Are you sure it's 12v?  3 pin rgb connector is a 5v.

Physically it probably won't be able to. And since this connector is most like 5v. You'll fry it. 

Edit. And looks like the board does have a 3 pin 5v argb header as well.

At 19:15  that's what he said. The led isn't rgb, its just a single white led.

Well in the video it clearly says it can work with a pwm header. You can just plug it into a pump header if you want. As it's literally the same as a cpu fan header.
