So a friend i got is thinking about buying a gtx 780 and selling his two gtx 670. its an MSI stock cooler one and an Asus one.

because im his friend i can buy it from him for 2000dkk thats for both of them.

(2000dkk is 221£ or 370$) anyways i come from Denmark so the prices for electronics are a bit high.

so i was thinking this is a great offer since right now i only run two 560 and thats around one 670 in performance.

is it worth it to do it? i was thinking about upgrading soon but to only a single card but this offer seems so good that i should do it.

It doesn't make much sense for your friend to sell his 670s and buy a 780, but it would definitely be a nice upgrade for you. Heck you would have the more powerful machine in the end :D

As long as the cards are in good condition the price is pretty fair, especially for Europe

oh i know.. i told him that his performance is gonna be worse but he knows about this already. no clue why he wants to do it.. maybe so he can sli the 780 later.. i dunno he is kind of odd

That would be a good buy, try and wiggle the price down a little

haha wish that was possible but i dont think there is anyway i can do that. i was looking around on danish websites and the cheapest i found was 3000dkk for 2x gtx 670 and his is only 2k so i doubt its possible :P

Well if he wants to SLI later then he should just buy them together and the price will just be lower, then for now keep the higher performance. Well anyway, I guess you should be happy about benefiting from his "not so rational" decision.
