thief isn't working

so i got my copy of thief from my never-settle code last week, however when i try to launch it, it will only play for 1-5 mins then crash. i have tryed every thing to fix and i cant find a soultion.

 

specs: 3570k : r9 290 : 750w psu : windows 8.0 : catalyst 14.2 (i have tryed stable drivers also) and sufficient cooling.

 

please help, i really want to play this game 

CPU: i5 3570K @4.5GHz    GPU: R9 290   MOBO: ASUS p8z77-v  RAM: 8Gb corsair vengence   CASE: ARC MIDI  PSU: XFX pro 550W  HDD: 2tb segate baracuda

Are we talking about the Gold one? :D BTW, How can it come with Never-Settle?

Try running in compatibility mode? also what happens when the game crashes? is it an error, stopped working or a complete system hang?
