Hi, I'm looking for a laptop that will be used for mostly stop motion animation production and some gaming (nintendo emulators and sims 3 mostly).

if anyone has any suggestions that would be great, or advice on what to look for.My price range is under £700 or $1000. I've mainly been thinking of getting a relatively cheap laptop (£550) then buying a separate ssd. The WD black2 looks really good at the moment.

if anyone has any suggestions or advice on what to look for that would be great, thanks.

sorry if this is the wrong place to post this.

Almost anything new can do that stuff.. Geesh, I can do stop motion animation with Camtasia Studio 8.

As far as Nintendo, Gamboy, Sega, etc etc. emulators, any new laptop can do all that stuff.. I'd say a nice laptop with a 4th Gen. i5 or even a fast i3 laptop could do that sutff. :)
