cloning

so i have a 1tb samsung ssd and i want to make it my new boot drive with out having to do a fresh install. I've cloned my c drive and put it in its spot in my tower but it doesn't boot up. tower will just shut down. i used easeus to clone the drive. if need be i will just do the fresh install but i would like to know if i'm doing something wrong. i'm running windows 10 home on a dell xps 8910 i7 6700
