upgrading laptop storage

my laptop model is asus X541UJ. it has this weird m2.5 slot on the motherboard. can I use it to upgrade the storage on my laptop? need answer urgently

you havent taken any picture of any slot. m2.5 is a screw size

from the looks of the specs it only has sata for the drive and an optical drive so they can either up the internal hdd or replace the optical with an additional drive

That laptop is listed as having SATA 3.0 only.
