I saw a thread a while ago that asked if there's a shadowplay alternative for amd cards, but he got answered only with normal screepcap software like fraps, dxtory and such.

What i want to know is if there's a program that let's me save the last x minutes of gameplay without recording all the time or streaming it to twitch.

Anyone know of something like this?

There's just so many glorious moments when playing with friends ;_; (or alone. like me.(just kidding))

Last time i used raptr, you could only stream to twitch. And that sucked too. I couldn't change any settings like resolution or bitrate.

But i guess the program was in a earlier state then. Not sure how it's doing now.

EDIT: Also afterburner just records normally. Like fraps and everything else

I want to be able to press a button, and save the last, let's say 10 minutes of gameplay.

Just imagine something amazing happened in a game. Press a hotkey and boom, you get a 10 minute video of what happened before you pressed the hotkey.

Basically you're going to need something that basically records continuously but caches the recent 10 mins while discarding anything before that timespan. To my knowledge there isn't anything strictly software only. Maybe there's some third party or hack of the avermedia cards that allow it but I'm doubtful.
