Ok well idk if i'm in the right place but idk where to go anymore but i have a 2070 super with a ryzen 7 3800x 16 gigs of ram and the asus hero viii hero wifi motherboard and i have had it for about 3 weeks now i love it but my rainbow six siege and doom eternal are having crucial lag where the loading screen for just booting up doom is chugging so hard you cant even use the menu its so bad, in rainbow six siege certain maps will do the same thing where its just unplayable but some maps run perfectly fine, but the winning screen chuggs really bad too and if i try any online play it just cant work idk if its a gpu cpu ram motherboard issue, the only change i had that was 2 days before this stuff started happening was installing the Elgato HD 60 PRO for my switch recordings and i put it in the PCIe slot x1 where it said it goes, i have also got contact with Ubisoft to see if they could solve it but they said it was a packet thing with my wifi, then again i'm playing terrorist hunt games with 1 ping where some maps like i said are flawless and some are horrible. I'm going to try to run doom offline to see if it changes thanks for helping if you know how to ❤️

Do you mean system lag or connection lag?

Are the maps in question stored locally...?  If so, HDD or SSD?

Can I realistically call myself a gamer, if I only play ONE, twenty year old game...?

Did you test boot it, before you built in into the case?

WHY NOT...?!

see i cant tell all storage on here is ssd and it looks like system lag but as i said the support also stated it could be connection as well

All I play is WoW... and zoning in is the closest WoW gets to 'new map' - that is faster on SSD than on HDD.

I would suggest, if you don't already, ethernet connection over wireless connection, too.

Just R6 & Doom that are problematic...?

How much breathing room (spare space) is on the drive they're installed on?

220 gb of free space on the ssd

Out of how much?  Should still be enough, unless it's a huge drive.

Do you get the same 'behaviour' with a wired (internet) connection?

That could be it...

Can you monitor what/who else is using your hotspot, potentially 'stealing' your signal?

Outta ideas, here, sadly (and it's stoopidly late)...

Good luck, going forward
