will low end big navi be as good as the 5700XT, or should i buy one after big navi comes out sense it will likely still be a good midrange card?

We don't know. As far as I know聽Big Navi is mentioned to compete against the 2000 and 3000 series, but as we don't know Real world performance of Big Navi, outside of MC with rtx on series x and we have nothing for 3000, we will have to see. side note. The series x graphics seems to be just less than聽a 2080 ti.

I would go with the 5700xt. Personally, I wouldn't purchase a new architecture聽AMD graphics card until its been on the market for a couple months and they've fixed the inevitable bugs.聽
