CPU change

im looking into a cpu change in my fujitsu esprimo e710 90+ do i need to take out the motherboard for that or can i change it by taking of the cooler and change the cpu to the new one putting thermapaste on and putting the cooler on

 

im flashing the newest bios on rn

You can just take the cooler off and out the new cpu in.

i was worried about the mounting of the cooler to fall of under the motherboard with this case i cant recover without taking out the motherboard

so aslong as the cpu is supported with the bios its just a change im reliefed

every thing worked but now im a bit confused the taskmanager still tells me im using a pentium g645 and nzxt cam tells me i got the i5 2500s did i do something wrong

Task manager is often incorrect in reading your hardware.
