Help with 2560x1080

Hi everyone 

I just bought a gtx 1660 super and was wondering if I should upgrade to a ultrawide display. Please let me know what kind of performance I will get at ultrawide resolution. Looking to play shadow of war Doom eternal and other new titles. Also please give your opinions on whether this is worth it as I currently have a 1920x1080 display.
