Issues with overlays while gaming

Hey,

since i switched to AMD i had some serious issues with all overlays on my PC. If i run any game it crashes after a few minutes. Most of the time i fixed it, by disabling any overlay out there, so i can play normally. However i would like to use some overlays, as they can be essential for the games i play and could do a lot of things easier for me. Has anyone ever experienced this and would have a solution, that i could use any overlay in any game again? As i said it started when i switched to a Ryzen 5 2600 and a Sapphie Nitro+ Rx580. Over the time i had to reinstall Windows new, so that is probably not the issue.

So most issues were caused by the AMD Overlay itself, the Xbox Game Bar, Origin Overlay and the Steam overlay

If, by chance, you're using Discord, try disabling their overlay. At various times, their overlay has caused trouble with all the major launchers (Origin being particularly bad, going so far as to cause BSOD's), wouldn't surprise me if it's an issue that has cropped up again.

Other than that, I'd look into enabling one overlay at a time, see if the issue persists, adding another one when you're certain that you're stable. See if you can root it out to a specific conflict.

Yeah Discord overlay is also disabled. Guess i will check if the ones i would like to use work. Thank you
