Internal HDDs Read as Removable Hardware

I recently upgraded an old XPS 630 which had a 1TB WD drive and two WD 500GB run in Raid 0. When I reinstalled them and reformatted them the two 500GB drives obviously were not set up in Raid anymore but they are also showing as removable hardware like a USB. They seem to be working normally but it seems strange for them to be read as removable hardware. Does it have to be with them no longer being in Raid? Is there a way to make it so they read as normal drives? Thanks for your help!
