Win 10 pro slow. Help

Hi, experiencing some slowness with win 10 pro. Heard that the enterprise version does not have any bloatware and unnecessary apps running in the background? I did a fresh install btw but still.

 

How are your experience with win 10 pro and you use pro or enterprise?

 

I so wanna use win 7 but end of support. :/

 

NB: specs are ryzen 3200g, 8 gb ddr4 3k mhz ram, ssd. Windows is installed in SSD

What are your specs and have you got any programs running in the background from startup?

Desktop - i5-9600KF @4.8GHz all core, MSI Z390-A PRO, 2x8GB Corsair Vengeance 3000MHz, MSI GTX 1660S OC 6GB, WD Blue 500GB M.2 SSD, Seagate Barracuda 2TB 7200RPM HDD

Laptop - ASUS ZenBook 14 with ScreenPad, i7-1165G7, Xe iGPU 96EU, 16GB Octa-Channel 4200MHz, MX450 2GB, 512GB SSD with 32GB Optane

I daily drive Win10Pro and it works like a charm (the only reason I wanted Pro was so I could use RDP...).

That's false,The Enterprise version has bloatware and telemetry too.

If you want Windows without bloatware go for Windows Server 2019 - It doesn't have the microsoft store but it does support RTX and DX12 very well.

It doesn't stop 25% of the market to keep using it,overclockers use it for world records due to it's performance and don't plan to abandon it any time soon.

In the overclocking community Buildzoid use it for everyday tasks and i use it from time to time because of convenience :D

Is that risky?: Definitely yes,Do you get more performance?: depending on the workload but in general yes.

 

You could use Windows 7 for non personal things like gaming and do not store personal information on it.

Single channel? Is DOCP on? Not that I would expect either of those to make a huge difference to how Windows runs.
