The rgb is not in any way connected to the board. It is directly connected to the power so the motherboard doesn't really have contact with them

Aura Sync is for the motherboard...you have a AsRock board, so it won't work with it.

The fans appear to be just regular 4-pin RGB fans, so you can hook them up to the 4-pin RGB headers on your AsRock motheroboard.

If you are using the included RGB controller, the software is useless.

You EITHER use the RGB Controller, OR ditch the controller, and hook them up to your motherboard and use motherboard's RGB software.

4-pin RGB have been standardized, so it is the same across board manufacturers...ASUS, MSi, AsRock, Gigabyte...etc...

In the front, however, we have three lovely TUF RGB fans that are paired up to a built-in RGB controller.

However, you can, of course, link it to a standard RGB header for AURA Sync control of the lighting.

Hello, I am using an ASrock motherboard in a asus tuff gt501 case which comes with preinstalled rgb fans. To control them I need to use Aura sync. Can I still use aura sync even though my motherboard is not asus? Also I am getting an error message with aura sync every time i try to launch it.

Considering the motherboard usually controls the RGB, I would guess to install ASRock's solution (Polychrome?) and see if it's interoperable enough to control the RGB?
