For a starting base its not bad, maybe a little less on the mobo and try to get an i5 in. if you would to like to use down scaling of the resolution if not its perfect.

 

Watch out tho, you can not just add disks and set them in raid or zfs. Because you will lose your data. So then you need a place to temporary store your media files.

Yeah the only other motherboard I was looking at was the ASUS Prime H310I-Plus and it was cheaper but the Gigabyte has more features so I thought why not. Also, thanks for the heads up on the raid!
