GARAGE PC/REMOTE ACCESS?

So I am in the beginning stages of planning out a computer for my workshop/garage.  Obviously dusty and weather(temperature not rain) are a factor.  I was thinking about building a tower and having it inside the house; while having remote control of the pc with just the keyboard/mouse/monitor being in the garage.  Any thoughts on the best way to do this?

Additionally if I wanted to extend to have a second set of piriphreals in the basement could that also be done easily?

***I guess I should be asking about wired over ip vs wireless KVM's?  I have no exp. with them

 

Keep trying to sign this stupid screen but it wont work...
