So I have a sapphire rx 590 8gb and I get black screen while I play fortnite and COD warzone and other games. I deleted the drivers and I have also used DDU in safe mode and I made sure that I got rid of the old drivers. I then installed the latest drivers from the AMD website and downloaded it and I still get the same problem.

What could it be?

Update bios

clear cmos

emable XMP, if that doesn’t work

dram voltage to 1.35

soc voltage to 1.1

set he speed the kit is rated for and try and boot

I already enabled xmp and set it 3000 mhz as it is rated to run at that speed.

I have cleared cmos and I did update bios but doesnt help.

Could it be the gpu issue or software issue?

AMD's drivers like to be uber retarded so you should maybe try older drivers or downclock and undervolt your gpu. Your power supply might not be able to cope with the GPU's power demands. So when you get a black screen do your gpu fans immediately go to full blast and make you have to reboot?

When I do get the black screen, my fans doesnt go full blast. If I downclock the gpu, then I will loose peformance and I dont see the point of having this gpu. It supposed to run at stock speeds without any issues.

The maximum power draw I saw for this gpu was around 200w when overclocked. So when it is at stock settings it should use less than 200w so I have a 600w power supply so I am sure that 600w power supply is more than enough. My power supply only has a single 12v rail.

Pc specs

Ryzen 5 2600x

Sapphire Rx 590 8gb

16 gb ddr4 3000mhz ram

256 gb ssd

1 tb hdd
