Ram Compatiblity...

I found some ram I would like to buy online but I would like to know if it's compatible with my system

Motherboard is a Dell optiplex 745  and the current ram in it is 512mb 1Rx8 PC2-5300u-555-12-D3. And the ram I want is 8GB Kit 4x 2GB PC2-6400U DDR2 800MHz 

can someone tell me if it's compatible with my motherboard

judging by the spec sheet I found online, this kit should be compatible unless you have the model with two ram channels. If you want to do some extra digging look up Intel® Q965 (ICH8) Express Chipset and the optiplex datasheet.

Realized not every model has 4 channels
