ELMB-Sync uses variable refresh

All ELMB-Sync is, is ELMB that also works with variable refresh. This helps reduce strobe crosstalk

if u had to compare G-Sync to this, G-Sync only synchronizes the monitor frequency to the frame rate.. While ELMB-Sync does that AND adds backlight strobing (BFI) to reduce persistence blur while at the same time trying to keep the strobing frequency in line with the refresh rate. its not perfect by any means, but its better than having to choose between either Variable refresh OR BFI, since in most display u cant use both at the same time.
