Hey guys, I have chosen to build a pc instead of buying one and this is gonna be my first time building a pc    . It's gonna be mostly for gaming but i also do some photoshop and some maya. My budget is about SGD$1500 (includes setup) so I was wondering are these parts okay?

CPU: Intel i5 3570k (using stock cooler)

Motherboard: ASUS P8Z77-VLX

GPU: ASUS GeForce GTX 660 2GB

Memory: Corsair Vengeance DDR3-1600 (2x4GB)

Storage: 1TB WD Blue / Black (dont know the differences)

PSU: Seasonic 550w S12G

Optical drive: Samsung 24x

Also, what is the minimum wattage required for this build and should i go for wd blue or black? Many thanks  :D

Get the i5 4670K (newer version of 3570K)

Get a GTX 760 (newer version of GTX 660)

RAM is good

Get the 1tb WD Blue, or get something like an 120gb Samsung 840 EVO if you can afford it along side a 1tb WD Blue

PSU is good

Thanks for the replies guys. I've decided to go 3rd gen instead since I see a lot of overheating issues with haswell and I am only going to be using the stock cooler.

So im gonna go with the 3570 non k n an asrock h77 pro4. Also, im dropping the gtx 660 to a 650 ti boost to fit my budget. With these specs, is a 460w power supply gonna cut it?
