Anno 1602 HD update

Rather ironic that last night i dusted off 1602 for the first time in at least a decade, and then this morning am greeted with the news it is getting an HD update.  Technically it was announced a month ago, but this is the first i am hearing off it and i do not see it mentioned on here so i am sharing it for any anno fans.

 

The update brings compatibility fixes for modern OS and hardware, support for resolutions up to 4k, updated scaling options, options to use more modern control schemes(like being able to use both mouse buttons!), as well as making multiplayer possible again.  This list  inclusive of all the changes,  but it does resolve a lot of issues people have with dusting off their old game.

 

The best part, IMO, is that it isn't just 1602 that is getting some love. The first four games in the Anno series are all getting the make over.
