Extending display problem

So,  I don't really know if it has been posted here before but, when i try to extend the diplay from my asus tuf fx505 dt this happens ... anyone having any ideea how to fix it? i tried a different cable with another version of the laptop works ... and i don.t know if it has any relevance but the other laptop only has 8 gb of ram and mine has 16 gb courtesy of me adding another 8 gb stick ... please help example.thumb.jpeg.8c39bf93c02898ee6de80d416821e441.jpeg
