what can I do to get a score in the 15k mark as I see a lot of like builds getting in the 15k mark  any suggestions?

Use ddu to remove any old conflicting drivers then reinstall the newest ones available.

Well I used DDU and then reinstalled the drivers.  Same score.

Have you made any changes to gpu settings in bios or anywhere else?

nope just bought the card, chip and board and put it together.  just emabled XMP

I just looked at it again, and it seems your cpu score is a few thousand points lower than others. How are your temps under load? The only other thing I could think of is your system is getting too hot and throttling.

what would be a good utility to test temps.  and throttling ?

HWInfo, I don’t think it will tell you if it’s throttling so just look and see if the clocks start to get low and the temps get very high.

so I ran Cinebench and got Red 92-96 degrees

well I change my system Fan to the Cool Master RGB240L system.. ran the test and hottest temp was 76.  so cpu tem corrected. but still getting a low score for 3Dmark.

Ok so it isn’t thermal throttling. One more thing I found is updating your bios. Other then that I haven’t found any thing else to fix poor performance.
