Custom Rom Install

Heyy guys 

i have MI A2 device running android 10 Pixel Experience and i want to switch to a different rom and ive been trying to flash twrp.img and for some reasons it is showing error and i dont have root 

any other way??

also i only have usb 3.1 port some say its that issue 

PLS HELP!!!!!
