CPU upgrade for current mobo

Hi,

 

I currently have a Gigabyte Z370M D3H motherboard with Bios F13, and a an intel I3 8100.

 

I am looking at upgrading the CPU to the Intel I5 9600KF, This is on special currently and a 20% cheaper then the I5 9600K.

 

I know that the mobo can support the 9th gen cpu on the bios version i am running. But is there any issues with this upgrade or better options for that price point?

I can't find it but how much does the 9700kf cost ?

If you can't afford it get a 9600kf or a 8700k

I can only find the 9700K and its 615, so a bit of a jump to far on the budget.

Also does not look like they sell the 8700k.

so the 9600KF will have no problems running on the relevant mobo?

i would get an 8700k over a 9700kf/9600kf just because of the higher core count

If you can maybe look at the used market for an 8700k then get that

If it's overpriced get the 9600kf
