My first PC build

Budget (including currency): 2,50,000 Indian rupees(it translates to about 3100 usd but due taxes parts in india are expensive so Its actually worth 500-600 usd less)

Country: India

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Gaming

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

Building from scratch, have chosen everything including peripherals, currently using a smple laptop(runs CSGO at 40 fps),I want to play on 1440p 144hz.

Here are the parts I picked for the system

Parts:                 Component                                                                                                                           Price

            Ryzen 7 3800x cpu                                                                                                                  33,000rs/-

Corsair 240mm H100i platinum rgb SE aio                                                                          13,000rs/-

            Asrock steel legend x570 motherboard(or a good b550 board)                                        20,000rs/-

            G skill Trident Z neo 3600mhz cl 18 16gb  ram                                                                    13,000rs/-

Gigabyte aorus Rtx 2080 super graphics card                                                                    72,000rs/-

            Corsair RM750 80 plus gold psu                                                                                           10,000rs/-

            Corsair MP600 500gb ssd                                                                                                      13,000rs/-

            Seagate baracuda 7200rpm hdd                                                                                              5,000rs/-

            Corsair 465x white case                                                                                                          12,000rs/-

            1x corsair LL 120mm fan                                                                                                           2,500rs/-

            Acer XV272U 27 inch 1440p 144hz freesync(gsync compatiable display)                         30,000rs/-

Hyperx alloy fps rgb keyboard(silver keycaps)                                                                       8,000rs/-

            Logitech G502 hero mouse                                                                                                       5,000rs/-

            Corsair HS50 headphones(not sure about these)                                                                   4,000rs/-

some psu extension cables and gpu riser cable                                                                     5,000rs/-

                                                                                                                                     Total   :           2,45,000rs/-

I mostly likely will wait to grab everything at a lower price on a sale and maybe also wait for the ryzen 3rd gen refresh cpus

and rtx 3000 series but those are completely obvious swaps because looking at the cut throat competition in both cpu and gpu

markets the next gen stuff is going to be good but there could a sale foe these older parts and these parts are pretty high end anyway

If anyone has any suggestions please answer I know this is a  really long theard but I like pcs and ths why I am excited.

Also, I havent done any overclocking before  so I was curious tht whether I can overclock  cl18  3600mhz to cl16 3600mhz

I also have doubts about the motherboard other one I have in mind is the asus TUF x570 plus.

This build looks ready but if anyone has any money saving tips please tell.

Looks like a very nice build! You could get the 3700X instead of the 3800X for very similar performance, if you want to save a few bucks. Other than that my only other suggestion was to go for the tuf gaming WiFi board, and it looks like you already thought of that.

Nice build, enjoy it :)

Yes I originally intended to use the 3700x but then the news about the refresh came so for now changed it to 3800x as the 3700xt might be similarly priced

I will wait till further anouncements and see, fro the motherboard  is the asus tuf wifi better than steel legend ? i only switched to it to match the white accents in the build tuf is too black and has yellow too

The Asrock VRM cooling isn't as good as the tuf's. However it's passable, and for a 3800X it should be fine if the tuf doesn't have the aesthetics you want. This video here gives you an idea of the difference:

Swap out the SSD. You don't need a Gen 4 for gaming.

I would get a single, large SATA SSD instead of the mechanical hard disk and small NVMe drive.
