Graphics card doesn't overclock anymore?!

Hey guys,

I have an issue, that my graphics card(7970 windforce 3x OC) will not overclock to my set 1070 Mhz core clock and 1500mhz memory clock.

I tried enabling AMD overdrive, changing the settings in both msi afterburner and AMD catalyst, but both afterburner and amd CCC show that the card only goes up to 1000mhz/1375mhz.

When I restart my PC it even resets the values to 1000/1375.

Does someone know how to fix this?

Ok I have a 2 monitor setup since today and I just noticed, when I have a stream/video running on my secondary monitor, my card will underclock itself to default settings.

However when I the stream/video off, it jumps back to my OC settings.

Is there a way to fix this?

Edit: Seems like it doesn't matter on which monitor I have a video running, it will underclock itself nonetheless.

Edit2: Ok seems like Firefox was causing this issue, switched to google chrome for now, still would like to know how to fix this :(

Thanks in advance!

Use only one software. When using afterburner did you appy?

Yeah I did. The thing is, it worked before, but now for some reason it doesn't anymore.

I'm not sure since when it stopped overclocking itself.
