G Hub maladies

Hopefully I am not posting about something that is already solved!  I have an issue installing G Hub (so that i can use my Logitech G920 with race sims).  The basic behaviour so that the installer starts then gets stuck toward the end with no hint as to why. G Hub Initialises, Downloads, Unpacks, then Downloads again, and then freezes! It just sits there doing nothing. Sometimes on 0mb remaining but frequently at 8 or 13mb remaining (yet network shows 0mb being utilised). 

I have monitored the network and it lines up with what the installation window is saying. Mine sometimes even gets to 0mb on the second download but never finishes. No Errors in the Event Viewer. I previously had the old Logitech gaming software installed but I have uninstalled it as it is now superseded, and rebooted. 

I had Logitech Options installed but have uninstalled and rebooted. I have deleted the Logitech folder from App Data/Program Files/Program Data

Has anyone seen this before and know the answer?

Long story short, installed v9 of the Logitech gaming software 9.02.65 - this worked and also updated my wheel with a firmware update. Its the older version but it did the trick and I am now up and racing which is what really matters.
