so i just got the WD SN750 black SSD w/o heatsink and ran a benchmark to make sure it's all good, but i noticed the temps shot up to about 75-80c. and this is with ample air flow (3 140mm fans with aircooler cpu). i heard M.2 drives regularly hit these temps with no issues, but this seems a little high ? unfortunately my motherboard doesn't have an m.2 heatsink so i'll have to buy a new one.

That seems normal for the drive but not really safe (potential data loss). I would get the heatsink they have for it.

I am far from an expert in this so please correct me if I’m wrong.

It seems to meet all the requirements except height, so I don’t think so. However the original wd Heatsink is also made by ek so maybe someone has used it and can comment?
